Configure analysis knobs (configuration options) to customize your performance analysis.
Predefined analysis types already have most of the knobs set up. For a list of knobs that can be configured for your predefined analysis type, enter:
amplxe-cl -help collect <analysis_type>
Custom analysis types provide a wide range of knobs that vary by collection type, runss or runsa. For a list of knobs that can be configured for a custom analysis, enter:
amplxe-cl -help collect-with <collection_type>
Use the following amplxe-cl command syntax to set knobs when running the analysis:
$ amplxe-cl <-action> <-analysis_type> <-knob knob_name=value> [--] <target>
