Intel® VTune™ Amplifier

Window: NC Device States

Displays the causes of core wake-ups by module and package, and over time.

To access this window: Click the NC Device States sub-tab in the Platform Power analysis result tab.

The north complex contains the compute intensive components (for example, video decode, image processing, and others). The NC Device States window is available in the Platform Power Analysis viewpoint that provides power-related data collected on a target system. This window displays the North Complex devices and their samples counts by D-State, and over time.

Note

Platform Power Analysis viewpoint is available as part of energy analysis. Energy analysis is provided by the Intel® VTune™ Amplifier for Systems only. Energy analysis collection is supported for target Android*, Windows* or Linux* devices.

Use this window to identify what devices spent overall time in the various D-States, and in specific timeframes during the data collection.
