Grouping Levels (Granularities)

Each row in the Wakelocks pane corresponds to a grouping level (granularity). The main available grouping levels are Kernel Wakelock, Locking Process, Application Name, User Wakelog Tag, and combinations of these groupings in different order. You can change the grouping level using the Grouping drop-down menu at the top of the CWakelocks pane.

Click the plus sign to expand a row and view data on different grouping levels.

Performance Metrics

Each data column in the Wakelocks pane corresponds to a performance metric.

Metric

Description

Total Lock Duration

Total duration of the lock, in seconds.

Kernel Wakelock Count

The number of Kernel Wakelocks that occurred.

Wakelock Lock Count by Lock Reason

The number of Wakelocks that happened, by the following reasons: Process, Existing Lock, Unknown.

Wakelock Unlock Count by Unlock Reason

The number of Wakelock unlocks that happened, by the following reasons: Process, Timeout, Overwritten, Unknown.

Locking PID

Identifier of the process that caused the wakelock lock.

Locking TID

Identifier of the thread that caused the wakelock lock.

By default, the table is sorted by the Kernel Wakelock/Locking Process/Locking Thread grouping in ascending order providing the objects with the highest total lock duration first. To change the sorting method, click the column header.
