报告摘要：
Tegra® is a system on a chip (SoC) series developed by NVIDIA for mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, e-books, etc. It is one of the most powerful mobile processor in this world. This talk will first present an overview of Tegra family, including the famous Tegra 4-plus-1TM architecture which makes it possible to achieve both high performance and low power consumption. The topic also includes the cutting-edge programmable modem--ICERA, which provides an innovative solution for mobile technology. And NVIDIA’s new game console SHIELD comes later, the latest GRID technology plus the most powerful mobile chip, it will show how graphic technology moves from desktop to mobile and indicate how it will change the future.
报告人简介：
Liangchuan Mi is a Senior Manager of Android SW in NVIDIA based in Santa Clara, California, and manages China Android Platform Department. He is an alumnus from 9923 of USTC. During his college, with teammates, he won the Champion of the 1st CCTV University Robot Contest of China, Beijing, 2002 and the Runner-up of ABU Asian-Pacific Robot Contest, Tokyo, 2002. He continued to study Robotics at Iowa State University in 2003, and also spent some time as research staff at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University in 2004. Later he joined in NVIDIA in 2005. Liangchuan is interested in Robotics, OpenGL, mobile graphics and Android software.
