Intel® VTune™ Amplifier
Displays the CPU C/P states by core, module, or package and over time.
To access this window: Click the CPU C/P States sub-tab in the Platform Power analysis result tab.
The CPU C/P States window is available in the Platform Power Analysis viewpoint that provides power-related data collected on a target system. This window displays the time that each core spent in each C-State and P-State by frequency, and over time.
Use this window to identify what core spent time at what frequency and to understand what cores were active at what timeframes during the data collection.
Platform Power Analysis viewpoint is available as part of energy analysis. Energy analysis is provided by the Intel® VTune™ Amplifier for Systems only. Energy analysis collection is supported for target Android*, Windows* or Linux* devices.

The CPU C/P States pane shows the time spent in sleep states and at each processor frequency. Intel SoC Watch can collect sleep states from the OS as well as the hardware view on a Windows* system. Click the expand

buttons in the data columns to expand the column and show data for different C-States and P-States in each core.
The Timeline pane graphically displays the C-States of each core, at each point in time. Each state is shown in a different color. Use the legend on the right to see the colors related to the different states or features, and check/uncheck boxes to add or remove optional display features. The also shows wake-up counts, wake-up events, and core frequencies. The wake-up band represents the wake-up objects that caused the core to switch from a sleep state to an active state. Each wake-up object type uses a unique color. By hovering over the band, you can view all of the wake-up objects at that point in time, including details such as wake-up object type, start time, and duration.
